มูลเหตุที่ทำให้ศาสนจักรถึงความเสื่อมและอ่อนแอ จนทำให้อาณาจักรต้องเข้ามาแทรกแซงดังที่เป็นข่าว

บทความที่แล้วได้เขียนถึงการที่คณะสงฆ์ฝ่ายปกครองบางกลุ่มได้เข้าไปเสพติดโลกธรรมทั้ง ๘ ซึ่งองค์พระบรมศาสดาทรงชี้ว่าเป็นเครื่องผูก เครื่องทำให้พร่อง ปรากฏแก่หมู่สัตว์ทั้งปวง
วันนี้เราท่านทั้งหลายมาตามรู้ถึงเหตุแห่งความเสื่อมและความอ่อนแอ ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในศาสนจักร ที่ทรงได้ตรัสเอาไว้แก่พระกิมพิละ พุทธสาวกความว่า
ดูกรกิมพิละ เมื่อตถาคตปรินิพพานแล้ว พวกภิกษุ ภิกษุณี อุบาสก อุบาสิกา ในธรรมวินัยนี้เป็นผู้ไม่มีความเคารพ ไม่มีความยำเกรงในศาสดา เป็นผู้ไม่มีความเคารพ ไม่มีความยำเกรงในธรรม เป็นผู้ไม่มีความเคารพ ไม่มีความยำเกรงในสงฆ์ เป็นผู้ไม่มีความเคารพ ไม่มีความยำเกรงในสิกขา เป็นผู้ไม่มีความเคารพ ไม่มีความยำเกรงกันและกัน
ดูกรกิมพิละ นี้แลเป็นเหตุเป็นปัจจัยเครื่องให้พระสัทธรรมไม่ดำรงอยู่นาน ในเมื่อตถาคตปรินิพพานแล้ว ฯ
พระกิมพิละ ทูลถามว่า ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ ก็อะไรเป็นเหตุเป็นปัจจัยให้พระสัทธรรมดำรงอยู่ได้นาน ในเมื่อพระตถาคตปรินิพพานแล้ว ฯ
ดูกรกิมพิละ เมื่อตถาคตปรินิพพานแล้ว พวกภิกษุ ภิกษุณี อุบาสก อุบาสิกา ในธรรมวินัยนี้ เป็นผู้มีความเคารพ มีความยำเกรงในศาสดา เป็นผู้มีความเคารพ มีความยำเกรงในธรรม เป็นผู้มีความเคารพ มีความยำเกรงในสงฆ์ เป็นผู้มีความเคารพ มีความยำเกรงในสิกขา เป็นผู้มีความเคารพ มีความยำเกรงกันและกัน
ดูกรกิมพิละ นี้แลเป็นเหตุเป็นปัจจัยเครื่องให้พระสัทธรรมดำรงอยู่ได้นาน ในเมื่อตถาคตปรินิพพานแล้ว ฯ

The cause of the monastic order (Sangha)’s decline and weakness, national legislation had to intervene, as seen in the news.

The previous article was about some ruling monks addicted to the Eight Worldly Conditions, which the Lord Buddha deemed as bindings prevalent among all living creatures.
Today, we will learn about the cause of the decline and weakness in the monastic order (Sangha), as the Buddha spoke to Kimbila, a Buddhist disciple, as follows:
Kimbila, after my Parinirvana, monks, nuns, male and female lay devotees in this Dharma discipline will have neither respect nor reverence for the Teacher, no respect and no reverence for the Dharma, no respect and no reverence for the Sangha, no respect and no reference for the precepts, as well as no respect and no reverence for one another.
Kimbila, this is the cause and the factor that the Dharma will not last long after my Parinirvana.
Venerable Kimbila asked, “Venerable Sir, what are the causes and conditions for the Dharma to last long after the Buddha’s Parinirvana?”
Kimbila, after my Parinirvana, monks, nuns, male and female lay devotees in this Dharma and the Vinaya have respect for the Teacher, respect and reverence for the Dharma, respect and reverence for the Sangha, respect and reverence for the discipline, as well as for one another.
Kimbila, this is the cause and the condition for the Dharma to last long after my Parinirvana.
