เมื่อมีการประกาศกฤษฎีกาเลือกตั้ง ก็มีพลพรรคนักการเมืองสารพัดค่าย ออกตระเวนโชว์นโยบายขายฝัน เพื่อจูงใจให้ประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิ์เลือกตั้งสนใจที่จักเลือกผู้สมัคร สส. พรรคของตน
ต่อมาบรรดาคอการเมืองทั้งหลาย รวมทั้งสองเคเบิ้ลทีวี ๑๓ สยามไทยก็สัมภาษณ์ไถ่ถามกันเข้ามาว่า ควรจักเลือกคนของพรรคใด
พุทธะอิสระจึงตอบว่า คุณๆ ท่านๆ ทั้งหลายก็ควรตั้งคำถามให้แก่ตนเองเสียให้ได้ก่อนว่า
เราต้องการให้นักการเมืองเหล่านั้นเข้ามาทำอะไรให้กับเรา ให้กับบ้านเมืองเรา
แต่หากจักถามพุทธะอิสระว่า ถ้าเป็นพุทธะอิสระล่ะจะมีหลักพิจารณาที่จักเลือกอย่างไร
พุทธะอิสระก็ต้องขอตอบ อธิบายขยายความให้ช่วยกันวิเคราะห์ว่า ประเทศไทยมิได้อยู่คนเดียวในโลก เวลานี้โลกเรากำลังก้าวเข้าสู่ความสุ่มเสี่ยงที่จักเกิดภัยสงครามในด้านภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ ซึ่งกำลังก่อตัวขึ้นในทุกทวีป ไม่เว้นแม้แต่ทวีปเอเชียใกล้ตัวเราคือ ไทยกับเขมร
ซึ่งสงครามด้านภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ครั้งนี้ มันมิได้มีแต่เฉพาะกับคนรบพุ่งต่อสู้กันด้วยอาวุธยุทโธปกรณ์แต่เพียงอย่างเดียว
มันยังมีสงครามการค้า สงครามข้อมูลข่าวสาร สงครามแย่งชิงทรัพยากร สงครามดิจิตอลที่กำลังสร้างความเสียหายเดือดร้อนให้แก่ทั้งโลกในเวลานี้ หรือที่เรียกกันว่า ขบวนการสแกมเมอร์ การฉ้อโกงทางออนไลน์และค้ามนุษย์
เหตุการณ์เหล่านี้ ประชาชนผู้มีสิทธิ์เลือกตั้งทั้งหลายควรต้องรับรู้ไว้แต่เบื้องต้น แล้วจึงเลือกคน เลือกพรรคการเมืองที่สามารถเข้ามาแก้ปัญหาให้ตรงต่อสถานการณ์โลกดังกล่าวนี้ให้ได้ เพื่อนำพาประเทศไทยให้อยู่รอด
สรุปการเลือกตั้งครั้งนี้มิใช่จักเลือกเพื่อปากเพื่อท้องเพื่อความอยู่รอดของเราแต่เพียงอย่างเดียว มันก็คงจะไม่รอด
เพราะถ้าเราเอาหลักคิดที่ว่า บ้านเมืองต้องมาก่อนเช่นนี้ ท่านทั้งหลายก็ลองพิจารณาเลือกเอานักการเมืองและพรรคการเมืองที่เขาพูดภาษาเดียวกันกับฝ่ายความมั่นคง และสามารถนำพารัฐนาวานี้ไปสู่ฟากฝั่งแห่งความมั่นคง เจริญรุ่งเรือง อยู่รอดปลอดภัยให้ได้ในช่วงที่เกิดวิกฤติทางความมั่นคงทางภูมิรัฐศาสตร์ดังที่กล่าวมา
เหล่านี้คือหลักคิดของพุทธะอิสระ
ส่วนหลักคิดของคุณๆ ท่านๆ ต่อการจักเลือกใคร พรรคใด ก็ขอว่า อย่าหลงเชื่อคำโฆษณาชวนเชื่อ เหมือนครั้งในอดีตที่ผ่านๆ มา สุดท้ายทำไม่ได้และก่อแต่ปัญหาให้กับบ้านเมืองและประชาชน
เราท่านทั้งหลายจะได้มิต้องมานั่งบ่น ก่นด่า ให้สิ้นเปลืองน้ำลาย ทำลายให้จิตเศร้าหมองขุ่นมัวไปเสียเปล่าๆ
คิดให้แยะๆ พิจารณาให้ละเอียดถี่ถ้วน ว่าหากเราเลือกคนของพรรคใดแล้ว บ้านเมืองจะอยู่รอดไหม ?
ไม่ใช่จะคิดแค่ปากแค่ท้องเราเท่านั้น
ควรคิดถึงชาติ บ้านเมืองเป็นหลัก เมื่อบ้านเมืองอยู่รอด ตัวเราก็จักอยู่รอด

When the election decree was announced, politicians from various parties traveled across the country, presenting their policies and making promises to persuade eligible voters to choose their parliamentary candidates.
Subsequently, political observers-including reporters from the two cable television channels, Siam Thai Channel 13-interviewed me and a few other people about which party’s candidate they intended to support.
Buddha Isara responded that we should first ask ourselves:
“What do we want these politicians to do for us and for our country?”
When asked about the criteria I would use in selecting a candidate, Buddha Isara would elaborate in detail and encourage everyone carefully consider the broader circumstances. Thailand does not exist in isolation. The world is currently entering a precarious period, with the risk of geopolitical conflict brewing on every continent-including Asia, particularly involving Thailand and Cambodia.
This geopolitical struggle is not limited to armed conflict or the use of military weapons. It also includes trade wars, information warfare, competition over resources, and digital conflicts. These forces are already causing widespread harm and suffering across the globe, manifesting in issues such as scams, online fraud, and human trafficking.
Voters should be aware of these realities from the outset and choose individuals and political parties that are capable of addressing these global challenges to ensure Thailand’s survival.
In short, this election is not merely about choosing what benefits our livelihoods. It is about survival. If we fail to recognize this, we risk not surviving at all.
If we truly uphold the principle that the nation comes first, then we must choose politicians and political parties that share a common understanding with those in power and are capable of steering the ship of state toward stability, prosperity, and survival amid the current geopolitical security crisis.
These are the principles of Buddha Isara.
As for your own principles when deciding whom to vote for, do not allow yourself to be misled by propaganda, as has happened in the past-propaganda that ultimately led to failure and caused only problems for the nation and our people.
If we think carefully and responsibly, we will not have to waste our energy complaining or condemning others afterward, which only harms our own spirits.
Reflect deeply and thoroughly : if we choose a candidate from a particular party, will the country survive?
We should not think only about our personal livelihoods. We must prioritize the nation and the country as a whole. When the country survives, we will survive as well.
