ลูกรัก เจ้าจักสำคัญความนี้เป็นไฉน ? (ตอนที่ ๒๕)

สรุปเหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกนรกบริวารของสัญชีวมหานรกทั้ง ๑๖ ขุม โดยมีพฤติกรรมชั่วผิดบาป มีดังนี้คือ
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในเวตรณีนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑)
ด้วยเพราะขณะที่สัตว์ได้เกิดเป็นมนุษย์หรือดิรัจฉาน หรือสัตว์อื่นใด เมื่อเกิดมาแล้วใช้กำลังกาย วาจา ข่มเหง กลั่นแกล้ง รังแก ทำร้าย แก่ผู้ที่อ่อนแออย่างไม่เป็นธรรม เช่นนี้จึงต้องได้รับทัณฑกรรมให้ไปเวียนว่ายอยู่ในทะเลน้ำกรดกัดกร่อนเลือด เนื้อ กระดูก จนกว่าจะหมดกรรม
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในสุนขนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๒)
สุนขนรกขุมนี้เป็นที่อยู่ของพวกที่ชอบด่า ชอบตำหนิ ดูหมิ่น นินทาแก่ท่านผู้มีพระคุณ ครั้งเมื่อถึงคราวแตกกายตายลงก็จักต้องมาเกิดชดใช้กรรมชั่วผิดบาป รับโทษภัยจากสุนขนรกขุมนี้จนกว่าจะหมดกรรม
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในสัญโชตินรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๓)
นรกขุมนี้เป็นที่เกิดที่อยู่ที่ตายของหมู่สัตว์ที่มีกรรมชั่วหยาบด้วยการเบียดเบียน รุกราน ทำร้าย ด้วยกายหรือด้วยวาจาแก่ท่านผู้มีศีล มีธรรม หรือท่านผู้มีการบำเพ็ญทาน แม้ขณะที่กำลังบำเพ็ญในศีล ในธรรม และขณะบริจาคทานก็ตาม
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในอังคารกาสุนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๔)
ก็เพราะด้วยอำนาจแห่งกรรมชั่วหยาบที่ได้เบียดบัง ฉ้อโกง ยักยอก เอาทรัพย์ของผู้อื่นทั้งโดยตั้งใจและมิได้ตั้งใจ หมู่สัตว์เหล่านั้นก็จักมาบังเกิดในนรกขุมนี้
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในโลหกุมภีนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๕)
ด้วยเพราะสัตว์เหล่านั้นขณะเกิดในภพชาติก่อนๆ ได้ทำกรรมชั่วผิดบาปด้วยการเบียดเบียน รุกไล่ ทุบตีแก่ท่านผู้มีทาน มีศีล มีธรรม และเหล่าสมณะ ชี พราหมณ์ผู้ทรงไตรสิกขา
ไม่ว่าการกระทำนั้นจะมีอันตรายถึงชีวิตหรือแค่ฟกช้ำ เลือดตกยางออก หรือกระทำกิริยาอาการและวาจา เหยียดหยามดูหมิ่น ไม่ว่าท่านผู้ทรงศีล ทรงธรรม ทรงทาน ทรงภูมิเหล่านั้นจักรู้สึกขุ่นเคือง ไม่พอใจหรือไม่ก็ตาม
สัตว์ผู้ทำกรรมผิดชั่วบาปเหล่านั้น ก็หนีไม่พ้นโทษทัณฑกรรมของโลหกุมภีนรกขุมนี้ ไปไม่ได้เด็ดขาด
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในคีวลุญจนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๖)
ด้วยเพราะในอดีตบรรดาหมู่สัตว์นรกเหล่านี้ได้เคยกระทำบาปอกุศล จิตใจโหดร้าย เห็นการทรมาน การค้า การล้างผลาญชีวิตสัตว์เป็นเรื่องสนุกสนาน เห็นการเจ็บ การตายของสัตว์เป็นเรื่องเพลิดเพลินเจริญใจ แม้มิได้ลงมือกระทำเอง ใช้ให้ผู้อื่นทำ หรือยินดีที่เห็นผู้อื่นทำ ก็ต้องมาเกิดชดใช้กรรมอยู่ที่คีวลุญจนรกขุมนี้
ตัวอย่างเช่น พวกที่ชอบตีไก่ กัดปลา ชนวัว ชกมวยเป็นต้น
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในถุสปลาสนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๗)
ด้วยอำนาจแห่งกรรมชั่วหยาบที่ทำไว้เมื่อครั้งเป็นมนุษย์ด้วยการปลอมปน หลอกล่อ ใช้เล่ห์ลวงอำพรางในการซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนสินค้านานาพรรณ
จากของน้อยก็ทำให้เป็นของมาก
จากของดีก็เอาของเลวไปผสม อย่างเช่น ข้าวหอมก็เอาข้าวขาวธรรมดาไปผสมให้ดูปริมาณมากขึ้น หรือไม่ก็ใช้เล่ห์เพทุบายหลอกขายของปลอมแล้วอวดอ้างสรรพคุณว่าเป็นของจริง หรือไม่ก็โฆษณาขายหรือแลกเปลี่ยนสินค้าของตนเองที่ด้อยคุณภาพ ไปแลกกับของดีมีคุณภาพ
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในสัตติหตสยนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๘)
ในอดีตครั้งเมื่อสัตว์นรกเหล่านี้เกิดเป็นสิ่งมีชีวิต ได้ทำการละเมิดศีลในข้ออทินาทานา มีการฉ้อราษฎร์บังหลวง ทุจริต คดโกง ปล้นสะดม ลักขโมย และเบียดบังเอาทรัพย์ของผู้อื่น สร้างความเสียหายเดือดร้อนแก่ผู้อื่น
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในวิลตกนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๙)
ทำปาณาติปาตา มีจิตใจโหดร้าย ชอบทำร้ายทำลายเข่นฆ่าชีวิตสัตว์ ด้วยความสนุกสนาน บันเทิงบ้าง และเพื่อนำมาเป็นอาหารบ้าง
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในปุราณมิฬหนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๐)
เหตุมาจากอดีตชาติที่ผ่านๆ มาสัตว์นรกเหล่านี้ได้กระทำกรรมชั่วผิดบาปด้วยการเบียดเบียน ประทุษร้าย กลั่นแกล้ง หรือทำลายผู้ที่เป็นมิตร เป็นสหาย เป็นเพื่อน ที่เขาคบค้าสมาคมด้วยความจริงใจ ซื่อตรง บริสุทธิ์ใจ และไว้วางใจ
แต่สัตว์นรกเหล่านี้กลับกระทำในสิ่งที่ตรงกันข้าม คือ เป็นคนหน้าเนื้อใจเสือ เสแสร้ง ตลบตะแลง กลับกลอก กะล่อน หลอกลวง ไม่ซื่อตรง สับปลับ คดโกง ไว้ใจมิได้
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในโลหิตปุพพนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๑)
ด้วยเพราะในอดีตของสัตว์นรกขุมนี้ ครั้งเมื่อยังมีชีวิตอยู่ได้กระทำการทารุณกรรมด้วยกาย ด้วยวาจา และด้วยจิตใจแก่บิดามารดา ปู่ย่า ตายาย ลุงป้า น้าอา พี่น้อง ครูอุปัชฌาย์อาจารย์ และท่านผู้มีพระคุณ
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในอยพลิสนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๒)
ก็เพราะเป็นผู้ที่ได้มีส่วนร่วมรู้เห็น และได้รับผลประโยชน์ต่อการทุจริต คดโกง ฉ้อฉล คอร์รัปชั่นในทรัพย์ของผู้อื่น
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในอุทธังปาทนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๓)
ก็เพราะละเมิดในศีลข้อกาเม คือ การผิดลูกผิดเมีย ผิดผัวชาวบ้าน (นรกสำหรับเพศหญิง)
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในอวังสิรนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๔)
ละเมิดในศีลข้อกาเม คือ การผิดลูกผิดเมีย ผิดเมียชาวบ้าน (นรกสำหรับเพศชาย)
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในโลหสิมพลีนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๕)
เพราะความชั่วผิดบาป อกุศลกรรม ที่สัตว์นรกเหล่านี้ ได้ละเมิดในศีลข้อกาเม ลุ่มหลง มัวเมาแต่ในรูป รส กลิ่น เสียง สัมผัส จนกลายเป็นผู้ตกอยู่ในนรกของความลุ่มหลงอย่างถาวร
เหตุที่ทำให้ต้องมาตกอยู่ในปจนนรก (นรกบริวารขุมที่ ๑๖)
เพราะในอดีตชาติของสัตว์นรกเหล่านี้ล้วนมีมิจฉาทิฐิ ความเห็นที่ผิดไปจากสัจจะความเป็นจริง ทั้งยังกระทำตนเป็นคนดื้อด้าน ดันทุรัง ไม่ฟังคำอธิบายสอนสั่งของบิดามารดา ครูอุปัชฌาย์อาจารย์ ปราชญ์ผู้รู้ ทั้งยังกระทำตนดูหมิ่น เหยียดหยาม ล้อเลียนท่านผู้รู้ด้วยกิริยาที่เลวทราม ต่ำช้า แก่ท่านผู้รู้

In summary, wicked and sinful conduct leads to rebirth in the sixteen subsidiary hells of the Maha Sañjīva Hell, as explained below.
Reasons for Falling into Vetarani Hell (First Subsidiary Hell) :
While living as humans, animals, or other beings, those who used physical strength or harsh speech to oppress, bully, and unjustly harm the weak are reborn in this hell. There, they must wander in a sea of corrosive acid until their karma is fully exhausted.
Reasons for Falling into Sungha Hell (Second Subsidiary Hell) :
This hell is the destination of beings who habitually curse, criticize, insult, or slander their benefactors. After death, they are reborn here to atone for their wicked deeds until their karma is exhausted.
Reasons for Falling into Sanjoti Hell (Third Subsidiary Hell) :
This hell is the place of birth, dwelling, and death for beings who committed heinous deeds by physically or verbally oppressing and harming virtuous and charitable individuals, even while those individuals were observing moral conduct and practicing generosity.
Reasons for Falling into Angara Kasu Hell (Fourth Subsidiary Hell) :
Through the power of grave misconduct involving embezzlement, deception, and fraud concerning the property of others-whether intentional or unintentional-beings are reborn in this hell.
Reasons for Falling into Lohakumbhi Hell (Fifth Subsidiary Hell) :
In previous lives, these beings committed sinful acts by oppressing, attacking, or beating virtuous and charitable individuals, including monks and Brahmins who upheld the Threefold Training of morality, concentration, and wisdom.
Whether such acts were life-threatening, caused injury and bleeding, or involved contempt and disrespect-and regardless of whether the victims felt resentment-those who committed these evils cannot escape rebirth in Lohakumbhi Hell.
Reasons for Falling into Kivalunja Hell (Sixth Subsidiary Hell) :
These beings committed cruel deeds with merciless hearts, took pleasure in torture, engaged in trades that destroyed animal life, or delighted in the suffering and death of animals. Even those who merely ordered such acts or enjoyed witnessing them-such as cockfighting, fish fighting, bullfighting, or violent contests-are reborn in this hell.
Reasons for Falling into Thusaplasa Hell (Seventh Subsidiary Hell) :
This hell results from grave misconduct in commerce, such as adulterating goods, deceiving customers, and employing trickery in buying and selling. Examples include misrepresenting quantities, mixing inferior goods with superior ones, selling counterfeit items as genuine, or deceitfully exchanging low-quality goods for high-quality ones.
Reasons for Falling into Satti-hattha-sayana Hell (Eighth Subsidiary Hell) :
In past lives, these beings violated the precept against stealing through corruption, embezzlement, fraud, robbery, theft, and misappropriation, thereby causing suffering and loss to others.
Reasons for Falling into Vita-Taka Hell (Ninth Subsidiary Hell) :
This hell is the destination of those who killed with cruelty, delighting in harming, destroying, or taking the lives of animals, whether for pleasure or for food.
Reasons for Falling into Puraṇa Milhana Hell (Tenth Subsidiary Hell) :
These beings committed evil deeds by oppressing, harming, deceiving, or betraying friends, companions, and associates with whom they once shared sincere, honest, and trusting relationships. They became two-faced, manipulative, dishonest, fickle, and untrustworthy.
Reasons for Falling into Lohituppha Hell (Eleventh Subsidiary Hell) :
In their past lives, these beings committed acts of cruelty-physically, verbally, and mentally-toward parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, siblings, teachers, and benefactors.
Reasons for Falling into Ayapalisa Hell (Twelfth Subsidiary Hell) :
This hell is the result of involvement in, support of, or benefit from corruption, fraud, and the embezzlement of others’ property.
Reasons for Falling into Uddhanga Pata Hell (Thirteenth Subsidiary Hell) :
They violated the precept of sexual misconduct, specifically adultery-engaging in affairs with another person’s spouse (a hell designated for women).
Reasons for Falling into Avangsira Naraka Hell (Fourteenth Subsidiary Hell) :
They violated the precept of sexual misconduct, specifically adultery-engaging in affairs with another person’s spouse (a hell designated for men).
Reasons for Falling into Lohasimbali Hell (Fifteenth Subsidiary Hell) :
Through evil and unwholesome deeds involving sexual misconduct, these beings became infatuated and obsessed with sights, tastes, smells, sounds, and tactile sensations, ultimately becoming trapped in a hell of delusion.
Reasons for Falling into Pajana Hell (Sixteenth Subsidiary Hell) :
In their past lives, these beings held wrong views and stubbornly deviated from the truth. They refused to listen to the guidance of parents, dismissed the teachings of teachers and mentors, and treated wise scholars with contempt, ridicule, and vile conduct.
