อบายมุข คือ เหตุแห่งความฉิบหาย (ตอนที่ ๓)

รัฐบาลโดยพรรคเพื่อไทย พยายามจะโฆษณาให้ประชาชนเข้าใจว่า การมีบ่อนคาสิโน จักทำให้เศรษฐกิจเฟื่องฟู ชาติและประชาชนจะร่ำรวย
พอได้ฟังมันทำให้พุทธะอิสระ รู้สึกสงสัยไม่รู้ว่าคุณๆ ทั้งหลายจักสงสัยเหมือนที่พุทธะอิสระสงสัยหรือเปล่าว่า
ประเทศลาว เขมร พม่า ที่มีอาณาเขตติดอยู่กับเรา ทำไมประชาชนของเขายังต้องอพยพเข้ามาขายแรงงานและเดินทางไปรับจ้างในประเทศอื่นๆ หรือเพราะเขารวยมากพอแล้ว จึงตระเวนออกไปหาประสบการณ์ชีวิต
อันที่จริงพุทธะอิสระก็อยากถามพวกนักการเมือง นักวิชาการ ที่สนับสนุนให้เปิดบ่อนเหมือนกันนะว่า
หากความร่ำรวยมันเกิดขึ้นมาจากการพนันจริง แล้วทำไมพระพุทธเจ้ายังทรงสอนว่า การพนันคืออบายมุข
อบายมุข คือ เหตุแห่งความฉิบหาย แม้แต่พระศาสดาในศาสนาอื่นๆ ก็ไม่มีองค์ใดสนับสนุนให้เล่นการพนัน
ด้วยเพราะท่านทั้งหลายเหล่านั้น ล้วนรู้เห็นถึงความฉิบหาย เสียหาย ที่มันจะเกิดกับมนุษย์ ครอบครัว สังคม ทั้งที่พระบรมศาสดาทรงชี้ถึงโทษภัยของการพนัน มีโทษ 6 อย่าง คือ
1. ผู้ชนะย่อมก่อเวร
2. ผู้แพ้ย่อมเสียดายทรัพย์ที่เสียไป
3. ความเสื่อมทรัพย์ในปัจจุบัน
4. ถ้อยคำของคนเล่นการพนัน ซึ่งไปพูดในที่ไหนๆ ก็ไม่มีใครเชื่อถือ
5. ถูกญาติมิตรดูหมิ่นเหยียดหยาม
6. ไม่มีใครประสงค์จะอยู่ร่วมด้วย เพราะเห็นว่า พวกนักเลงเล่นการพนันไม่สามารถจะเลี้ยงครอบครัวและตัวเองได้
พุทธะอิสระใคร่จักถามบรรดาผู้สนับสนุนให้เกิดความฉิบหายดังกล่าวมานี้แก่ประชาชน พวกท่านจะรับผิดชอบอย่างไร หรือจะโทษว่า ท่านไม่ได้บังคับให้ประชาชนไปเล่นการพนัน ประชาชนเลือกไปเล่นเอง แบบนี้มันก็คงไม่ต่างอะไรกับกรณีพ่อแม่ที่วางปืนไว้กลางบ้าน ลูกมาหยิบเล่นเอง แล้วปืนมันลั่นทำให้ลูกเสียชีวิต
หรือมันจะเป็นเวรเป็นกรรมของประชาชนที่มีผู้บริหาร คิดแต่ผลประโยชน์ แต่ไม่คิดถึงผลกระทบของชาติประชาชนกันเลย

Vices are the cause of ruin. (Part 3)

The Pheu Thai Party government has tried to advertise to the public that having a casino will make the economy flourish and the country and its people rich.
When I heard it, Buddha Issara (I) was curious. I wonder if you all wonder like me.
Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar, which are adjacent to ours, why do their people still migrate to sell their labor and work in other countries? Are they rich enough to travel to gain life experiences?
Buddha Issara (I) also want to ask politicians and academics who support the opening of casinos.
If wealth does come from gambling, then why did the Buddha teach that gambling is a vice?
A vice is the cause of ruin. Even the prophets of other religions do not support gambling.
Since those prophets realize the catastrophe and damage that will happen to individuals, families, and society. The Buddha pointed out the six dangers of gambling:
1. Winners will create enmity.
2. Losers will regret the lost wealth.
3. Deterioration of wealth at present
4. No one believes the words of gamblers.
5. Gamblers are looked down upon and despised by their relatives.
6. No one wants to live with them because gamblers cannot support their families and themselves.
Buddha Issara (I) would like to ask those who support such destruction, how will you take responsibility? Or will you blame that people chose to gamble themselves, you did not force people to gamble? This is no different from the case of parents who put a gun in the middle of the house, and the child picks it up to play with, and the gun goes off, killing the child.
Or is it the karma of people whose administrators only care about the benefits, but not the impact on the country and the people?
