เราท่านทั้งหลายได้เดินทางมาถึงกาลแห่งความเสื่อมกันแล้วหรือ (ตอนที่ ๑๖)

คุณพระแว่นท่านได้ส่งความฝัน ๑๖ ข้อ ของพระเจ้าปเสนทิโกศลมาให้ได้อ่าน อ่านแล้วก็อดไม่ได้ที่จะนำมาใคร่ครวญดูว่ามีความฝันใดบ้างที่ตรงกับยุคปัจจุบัน
เราท่านทั้งหลายก็ลองมาตามดูและพิจารณาร่วมกันนะจ๊ะ
มัวแต่คิด แต่เขียนในเรื่องการบ้านการเมือง เลยว่างเว้นการเขียนความฝันของราชาปเสนทิโกศลในข้อสุดท้ายไปเสียหลายเพลง
วันนี้พอมีเวลาจึงขอนำเอาพระสุบินนิมิตข้อสุดท้ายที่คั่งค้างมานำเสนอต่อนะจ๊ะ ความว่า
ราชาปเสนทิโกศล ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ หม่อมฉันสุบินนิมิตเห็นฝูงแกะพากันไล่กวดฝูงเสือเหลืองแล้วกัดกินเป็นอาหารอย่างเอร็ดอร่อย แม้พวกเสือดาว เสือเหลือง เมื่อเห็นฝูงแกะ ต่างพากันสะดุ้งกลัว วิ่งหลบหนีเข้าไปสู่ป่าลึกเพื่อเอาตัวรอด แล้วซุกซ่อนตัวไม่กล้าออกมาจากป่าทึบ ดังนี้ เภทภัยจะเกิดขึ้นต่อชีวิตและราชบัลลังก์ของข้าพระองค์หรือไม่พระพุทธเจ้าข้า
ดูกรมหาบพิตรผลของพระสุบินนิมิตนี้หาได้มีเภทภัยต่อพระชนม์ชีพและราชบัลลังก์ของพระองค์ไม่
แต่จักบังเกิดขึ้นในกาลข้างหน้า เมื่อบ้านเมืองต่างๆ ที่มีราชาเป็นพาล พระราชาทั้งหลายเหล่านั้น จักไม่ฉลาดในศิลปวิทยา ไม่เชี่ยวชาญในการศึก ไม่รอบรู้ในการปกครอง ไม่รู้วิธีบริหารราชกิจของตน ไม่รอบรู้ในปศุสัตว์และเกษตรกรรม
เมื่อไม่มีความรู้ เวลาใช้คนทำราชกิจนั้นๆ จึงไม่รู้จักเลือกคนทำงาน แต่กลับไปมอบงานให้แก่พวกคนรับใช้ใกล้ชิด ที่ไม่รู้ไม่เข้าใจต่อราชกิจนั้นๆ เข้ามาทำงาน
ส่วนชนที่มีสติปัญญา ความรู้ความสามารถ ก็พากันหลีกหนีไปอยู่ที่อันสงัด เช่น ตามชนบท ชายแดน เป็นต้น
พวกคนรับใช้ใกล้ชิดองค์ราชา เมื่อได้รับอำนาจมาแล้วก็ทำการกดขี่ข่มเหงพวกสุจริตชน ยึดเอาทรัพย์สิน บ้านที่ดินของคนมีสติปัญญา แม้พวกที่มีสติปัญญาที่เหลือจะพากันทำฎีกาฟ้องร้องถวายต่อราชาพาล ราชาผู้เป็นพาลก็ไม่เชื่อ แต่จักหลงเชื่อคำพูดของคนใกล้ชิด
ราชาผู้เป็นพาลจึงสั่นให้ราชบุรุษผู้ใกล้ชิดทำการเฆี่ยนตีลงโทษต่อผู้ฟ้องร้องที่มาแกล้งกล่าวหาว่ากลั่นแกล้งสร้างเรื่องเท็จใส่ร้าย
เหตุการณ์เช่นนี้หาได้มีอยู่แต่เฉพาะในฆราวาสวิสัยไม่ ยังลุกลามไปสู่สังคมนักบวชที่มีลูกศิษย์เป็นคนคุ้นเคยเป็นผู้รับใช้ใกล้ชิดราชาพาล ทำการยุยงให้คนใกล้ชิดราชาพาล รุกไล่ ทำร้าย ยึดทรัพย์ของนักบวชผู้เป็นสุจริตชน จนบรรดานักบวชสมณชีพราหมณ์ ผู้เป็นสุจริตชนต้องหลีกลี้หนีไปอยู่ตามชนบท ชายแดน หรือในป่าเขาถ้ำคูหา
ดุจดังพระสุบินนิมิตที่พระองค์ทรงเห็นหมู่เสือหลบหนีเข้าไปอยู่ในป่าลึกนั้นแล
พระสุบินนิมิตข้อนี้หาได้มีอันตรายต่อพระชนม์ชีพและราชบัลลังก์ของพระองค์ไม่
พระสุบินนิมิตข้อสุดท้ายนี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่า
คนพาลไม่ว่าจะมีอยู่ในสถานะใด ก็ไม่เป็นคุณต่อใครๆ ได้เลย
คนพาลมีลักษณะเด่นอยู่ 3 ประการ คือ
1. ชอบคิดชั่ว เช่น ละโมบอยากได้ของคนอื่น
2. ชอบพูดชั่ว พยาบาทปองร้ายผู้อื่น
3. ชอบประพฤติชั่ว สร้างความเดือดร้อน รำคาญให้แก่ผู้อื่น
พฤติกรรมของคนพาล มีดังนี้
1. ชอบชักนำในทางที่ผิด จากความเป็นจริง และมักเป็นคนเห็นแก่ตัว
2. ชอบยุให้เขาแตกแยกและมีนิสัยอิจฉา ใจคอคับแคบ
3. ชอบทำ พูด คิด แต่เรื่องชั่วร้าย แต่ตนกลับคิดเห็นว่าเป็นเรื่องดี
4. ชอบเสแสร้งสร้างภาพ ให้ดูดี แต่แท้จริงแล้วจิตใจโสมม มักมาก ทะยานอยาก
5. ชอบทำตนให้ละเมิดกฎเกณฑ์ กติกา ระเบียบ วินัย โดยคิดว่าเท่
6. ชอบสร้างปัญหาให้แก่คนรอบข้าง และตัวเองอย่างโง่เขลา
7. ไม่เชื่อในอะไรทั้งนั้น จะเชื่อก็แต่ตัวเอง แม้ที่สุดก็จะไม่เชื่อผลที่เกิดจากการกระทำของตน
8. โง่ ไม่รู้เท่าทันตามสภาพธรรมที่เป็นจริง

Have we arrived at an era of decline? (Part 16)

Khun Phra Waen sent me the sixteen dreams of King Pasenadi Kosala. After reading them, I could not help but ponder which dreams were relevant to the present era.
Let us follow along and consider them together.
I was so busy thinking and writing about politics that I did not write about the last dream of King Pasenadi Kosala for quite some time.
Today, since I have some time, I would like to present the last pending dream. It says:
King Pasenadi Kosala: I dreamt that I saw a flock of sheep chasing a herd of leopards and eating them with great relish. The leopards saw the flock of sheep, and were all frightened, and ran away into the deep forest to save themselves. They hid and did not dare to come out of the dense forest. Will there be a disaster for my life and my throne, Sir?
Look. This dream is not dangerous for your life or your throne.
But in the future, when countries have wicked kings, those kings will not be wise in arts and sciences, unskilled in warfare, ignorant of governance, unaware of how to manage their affairs, unfamiliar with livestock and agriculture.
When they are unwise, they do not know how to select people to do royal duties. Instead, they assign the work to their close servants who do not understand the royal duties.
Intelligent and capable people all flee to secluded places, such as the countryside or the border.
When the close servants of the king become powerful, they oppress honest people, seize property, houses, and lands of intelligent people. Even if the remaining intelligent people file a petition to the wicked king, the king will not believe them but will trust the words of those close to him.
The wicked king will then order his close courtiers to whip and punish the plaintiffs.
Such incidents not only occur among laypeople but also spread to the monastic community, whose disciples serve the wicked king. These immoral monks incite people close to the king to attack, harm, and seize the property of virtuous monks. The honest monks, ascetics, and Brahmins must flee to the countryside, the border, the forests, and caves.
Like the dream in which Your Majesty saw a herd of tigers fleeing into the deep forest.
This dream does not pose any danger to Your Majesty’s life or throne.
This last dream indicates that whatever status a bad person is, he is not beneficial to anyone.
A bad person has three prominent characteristics :
1. Usually thinks of evil, such as being greedy for others’ belongings.
2. Usually speaks evil and holds a grudge against others.
3. Likes doing evil, causing trouble and annoyance to others.
Behaviors of a bad person are as follows:
1. Usually misleads others in the wrong, unrealistic direction, and is often selfish
2. Usually incites others to be divided, and is jealous and narrow-minded
3. Usually does, speaks, and thinks of evil things, but thinks that they are good.
4. Usually pretends to be good, but has a dirty mind, is greedy, and ambitious.
5. Likes to violate rules, regulations, and discipline, and thinks that it is cool to do so.
6. Foolishly creates problems for people around them and themselves.
7. Does not believe in anything, but themselves. Finally, they will not believe in the results of their actions.
8. Stupid and unaware of the true nature of things.
