สงครามของคนชั่วกัดกันจนกลายเป็นสงครามของคนทั้ง ๒ ประเทศ

ก่อนที่จะมีสงครามอาวุธ ส่วนใหญ่มักจะเริ่มจากสงครามน้ำลายก่อน
ซึ่งจักเกิดจากคนของทั้งสองฝ่ายหรือไม่ก็ผู้นำของทั้งสองฝ่ายต่างถ่มถุยน้ำลายใส่กันไปมา จนถึงจุดหนึ่งที่ฝ่ายหนึ่งฝ่ายใดขาดสติ
ไม่มีหิริความละอาย
ไม่เหลือโอตตัปปะความเกรงกลัว
ไม่มีขันติความอดทน
ไม่มีโสรัจจะ ความสงบเสงี่ยม
จนแสดงสัญชาตญาณของสัตว์ป่าเถื่อนออกมาทั้งทางจิตใจ วาจา และกิริยาพฤติกรรมทางกาย หากฝ่ายหนึ่งฝ่ายใดมีสติรู้ตัวตื่นจากวังวนของอารมณ์ที่ชั่วช้าดังกล่าว ก็จักระงับ ยับยั้ง ชั่งใจ จนนำมาซึ่งการระงับอารมณ์ ระงับวาจา หยุดกิริยาพฤติกรรมที่จะทำให้เกิดสงครามนั้นๆ ลงได้
เช่นนี้จึงเป็นที่มาของวลีที่ว่า อย่าไปถือคนบ้า อย่าไปว่าคนมันกำลังเมา
(เมาในที่นี้มิใช่เมาเหล้า แต่เมามันในอารมณ์)
พฤติกรรมทั้งทางอารมณ์ วาจา กายใจ ที่ผิดพลาดชั่วช้าดังกล่าวมานี้ มันจะไม่เกิดขึ้นเลย หากเรียนรู้ ฝึกหัด ปฏิบัติศีลและธรรมอย่างจริงจัง

สรุปก็คือ หากศีลธรรมไม่กลับมา โลกาจะวินาศ

The fight between evil people has become a war between the two countries.

Before a war of weapons, it usually starts with a war of words, resulting from people or leaders from both sides spitting at each other, until one side loses consciousness.
No moral shame
No moral fear
No patience or tolerance
No modesty
Their minds, speech, and actions explicitly show the instincts of wild animals. Once one side becomes mindful and awakens from the cycle of such evil emotions, they will be able to stop, restrain, and control their emotions, speech, and behaviors that cause war.
From here originated the phrase, “Don’t be angry with a crazy person. Don’t scold a drunk.” (Drunk here does not mean drunk on alcohol, but emotionally drunk.)
These wrong and evil emotional, verbal, physical, and mental behaviors will not happen at all if they learn, practice, and seriously practice precepts and Dhamma.
Let me quote Buddhadāsa Bhikkhu.
In sum, if morality does not return, the world will go to hell.
Wishing you progress in Dhamma practice.
