เช่นนี้ถือว่าเหมาะสมหรือไม่?
ตอบ :
ตอนเขาบวชอยู่ก็ไปห้ามเขาพูด พอเขาสึกออกมาแล้ว จะเอาอะไรไปห้ามเขา
เขามีสิทธิ์จะพูดเท่าที่เขาอยากพูด อยากแสดงตราบเท่าที่สิ่งที่เขาพูด เขาแสดง มันไม่ไปละเมิดสิทธิ์ใคร ไม่ละเมิดกฎหมายใดๆ
ส่วนจะเหมาะสมหรือไม่ ก็ต้องไปถามเปรียญธรรม ๙ ดูว่า
พฤติกรรมของผู้จบเปรียญธรรมเช่นนี้ พวกมหาเปรียญเขาจะมีความเห็นอย่างไร
ส่วนคำสัมภาษณ์ที่พาดพิงถึงพฤติกรรมพระผู้ใหญ่ หากทิดเขาเอยชื่อใคร คนผู้นั้นก็ไปฟ้องร้องกันเอาเอง
แต่ถ้ากล่าวให้ร้ายคณะสงฆ์ โดยไม่ได้เอยนาม เช่นนี้ ก็ต้องเป็นหน้าที่ของสำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนา ที่จะออกมาปกป้องคณะสงฆ์ ควรพิเคราะห์ดูว่าเข้าข่ายละเมิดกฎหมายข้อไหน

ผู้สัมภาษณ์ : หมดศรัทธาไหมกับวงการสงฆ์กับพระผู้ใหญ่
ทิดไพรวัลย์ : ไม่เคยหมดศรัทธากับศาสนา ผมยังเคารพศาสนา ยังมีครูบาอาจารย์หลายรูปที่พร้อมที่จะกราบไหวท่าน มีครูบาอาจารย์ที่ยังเคารพ ยังนับถืออยู่ ยังจะนับถือศาสนาอยู่ เคารพศาสนา ยึดถือคำสอนของพระพุทธเจ้า แต่ว่ากับพระผู้ใหญ่บางรูปไม่ศรัทธา
ถ้ามองโดยส่วนตัวคนหนึ่งนะ ในฐานะตอนนี้เป็นคนพุทธคนหนึ่ง ในฐานะที่เป็นอุบาสก ผมมองว่า ผมหมดศรัทธากับคณะสงฆ์ ผมหมดศรัทธา แต่ว่ากับศาสนากับคำสอน ยังศรัทธาเต็มร้อย แต่คณะสงฆ์ ผมไม่เหลือศรัทธาให้แล้ว
ผู้สัมภาษณ์ : เพราะว่า ?
ทิดไพรวัลย์ : แย่มาก จะต้องให้พูดมากกว่านี้อีกเหรือครับ ? (หัวเราะ…)

Mr. Sonthiya Sawasdee, the former advisor to the committee on legal, justice, and human rights affairs of the House of Representatives, brought evidence of Mr. Praiwan Wannabut or the former Phra Maha Praiwan’s interview criticizing the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand and senior monks.
Is this appropriate?
Answer :
When he was ordained, he was prohibited from criticizing. After he left the monkhood, who would be able to stop him from speaking.
He has the right to speak and express as much as he wants, as long as it does not violate anybody’s right or any law.
You have to ask those who have obtained the ninth (highest) level of the Buddhist dhamma, whether it is appropriate.
How do they view the behaviors of a graduate with the highest level of the Buddhist dhamma?
If the interview of the former Phra Maha Praiwan implicates anybody, they shall file a
lawsuit themselves.
However, if the interview criticized the clergy, without naming anybody, the Office of Buddhism should come out to protect the clergy by looking whether it violated any law.

Interviewer : Are you faithless towards the monkhood and senior monks?
Former Phra Maha Praiwan : I have never lost faith in Buddhism. I am still faithful.
There are still several senior monks that I respect. I am still faithful and religious and hold on to the teaching of the Buddha. However, I am faithless towards some senior monks.
As a Buddhist, I have lost faith in the clergy, but I am still a hundred percent faithful in Buddhism and Buddhist teaching. However, I have lost faith in the clergy.
Interviewer : Why ?
Former Phra Maha Praiwan : Terrible. Should I say anything more? (laugh)
