ทุกข์ที่ครอบงำโลกอยู่ จักมีอะไรเล่าที่จักปลดเปลื
องค์สมเด็จพระบรมศาสดา ทรงตรัสสอนว่า
“เย ธมฺมา เหตุ ปัพฺพวา
เตสํเหตุงฺตถาคโต
เตสญฺจะ โย นิโรโธ จะ
เอวํ วาที มหาสมฺโณ”
“ธรรมเหล่าใดเกิดแต่เหตุ
พระตถาคตเจ้าทรงแสดงเหตุแห่
และความดับแห่งธรรมเหล่านั้
พระมหาสมณะมีปกติ ทรงสั่งสอนอย่างนี้”
เหตุแห่งทุกข์ของสมเด็จช่วง
หากจะดับทุกข์เหล่านั้นต้อง
ทุกข์นี้เป็นสมบัติเฉพาะตน
บุคคลอื่นหาได้มีส่วนรับทุก
ทุกข์ทั้งหลายล้วนเกิดจากคว
สมณะผู้สงบระงับย่อมห่างไกล
ไม่รู้ว่าสมเด็จช่วง เจ้าคุณแป๊ะ ธัมมชโย จะเป็นสมณะหรือยัง

Green light for ‘DSI’ to issue a warrant for ‘Somdet Chuang’

The Minister of Justice gave a green light for “DSI” to issue a warrant for “Somdet Chuang” to give his testimony, to answer as much as he knows directly and not through his lawyer.
Justice Minister, Gen. Paiboon Kumchaya, talked about asking for testimony from Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamangalacharn, also known as Somdet Chuang , abbot of Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen, the acting supreme patriarch, regarding the ownership of a vintage Mercedes Benz with the plate number “Kor Mor 99, Bangkok”. After the attempt to meet Somdet Chuang, he admitted that he felt angry when Somdet Chuang’s lawyer made an excuse for Somdet Chuang to not give the testimony and instead requested a list of questions in writing.
Because he was the one who ordered DSI to bring flowers, candles and incense to pay respect, insisted that DSI’s deputy director must be the person leading the investigative team, and prohibited everyone from giving a statement to the press. Honoring someone is not illegal. What can be done has been done. There is no selective treatment. DSI turns out to be the victim by having a phone confiscated and refused to be given testimony even after Wat Paknam’s party was the one who set up the appointment date and time. He ordered the investigative officials to return without any responding to interview requests from the press. He insisted that Somdet Chuang had been treated with respect. But after Wat Paknam’s lawyer issued a press release in a way that is damaging to DSI officials’ operations, he has ordered the DSI director to go ahead with legal proceedings. The warrant can be issued today. If Somdet Chuang doesn’t show up, they will have to go to court to issue an arrest warrant.
Gen. Paiboon also stated that during the witness interview stage, the witness must answer by himself. The witness may or may not be able to answer based on his knowledge. If the interview could be done in writing, he would like to do it. But if we do it that way, when will we get the answer? And if there are issues that need following up, then the writing would have to go back and forth and would never end. He insisted that there would not be a list of questions in writing because it cannot be done that way. The witness must reply by himself during an interview. The lawyer cannot reply instead of the witness. This is a witness interview, not testifying, when a lawyer can cross examine.
“The excuse by the lawyer that Somdet Chuang does not know about such a vehicle does not mean that Somdet Chuang cannot testify. The intent is already indicated in the letter. During the witness interview stage, it’s impossible for a witness to cite ignorance as the reason to not give testimony. The witness must answer as far as he knows. The intent is to investigate. Knowing means knowing. Not knowing means not knowing. But he can’t let the lawyer speak for him. This is just the investigation process. This case still has to be examined in the prosecution stage.”, said the Justice Minister.

What can ease suffering that is dominating the world if not the truth?
The Budha teaches,
“Of all those things that from a cause arise,
Tathagata the cause thereof has told;
And how they cease to be, that too he tells,
This is the teaching of the Great Recluse.”
The cause of suffering of Somdet Chuang and Luang Pi Pae, both of whom are suffering the same fate, comes from ignorance, greed and delusion.
Only the truth can extinguish those sufferings.
Suffering is a private asset.
No one else participates in sharing the suffering.
All sufferings are a result of ignorance, greed and delusion.
Buddhist monks who have settled peacefully are inevitably far away from all the causes of suffering.
Not sure if Somdet Chuang, Luang Pi Pae and Dhammajayo are true monks yet.
