มธ.แถลงการณ์ จี้ปล่อยตัว “ผู้ถูกจับกุม” ชั่วคราว ระหว่างพิจารณาคดี โดยคำนึงสิทธิในกระบวนการยุติธรรม

คนไทยจำนวนมาก พอเห็นแถลงการณ์ของมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์แล้ว เกิดข้อสงสัย
๑. มหาวิทยาลัยจะจัดการอย่างไรกับคณาจารย์ในมหาวิทยาลัยหลายคน ทำตัวเป็นปรปักษ์แก่สถาบัน และความมั่นคง ถึงกับใช้มหาวิทยาลัยบ่มเพาะเมล็ดพันธ์แห่งความเกลียดชังต่อสถาบันและคนรุ่นเก่า มหาวิทยาลัยจะรับผิดชอบอย่างไร?
๒. มหาวิทยาลัยไม่รู้เลยหรือว่า นิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยออกมาสร้างความเดือดร้อน เสียหายแก่ประเทศ แบบนี้มหาวิทยาลัยจะรับผิดชอบอย่างไร?
๓. ในเมื่อบุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยทำร้ายสถาบัน ทำลายความมั่นคงของชาติ สร้างความเดือดร้อนให้แก่คนในชาติ และย่ำยีหัวใจคนไทยทั้งชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยจะรับผิดชอบอย่างไร?
๔. การที่มหาวิทยาลัยออกแถลงการณ์แสดงความห่วงใยต่อนิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัย ดุจดังผู้ปกครองของผู้ที่ทำผิดต่อสังคม ผิดต่อกฎหมายหลายมาตรา เช่นนี้เท่ากับมหาวิทยาลัย พร้อมจะออกมารับผิดชอบต่อการกระทำของผู้อยู่ใต้ปกครองของตนใช่หรือไม่?
๕. พฤติกรรมของอาจารย์บางคน และนิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยหลายคน ที่กระทำการอุกอาจ โดยไม่หวั่นเกรงต่อกฎหมาย จนสร้างความเสียหายให้แก่ประเทศ มหาวิทยาลัยจะรับผิดชอบอย่างไร?
๖. หากมหาวิทยาลัยห่วงใยนิสิตของตนอย่างจริงใจ ทำไมเมื่อมหาวิทยาลัยเห็นพฤติกรรมที่ย่ำยีจาบจ้วงสถาบัน ทำลายความมั่นคง ทำลายประโยชน์สุขของบ้านเมือง มหาวิทยาลัยทำไมจึงไม่หยุดยั้งการกระทำนั้น สังคมเขาเห็นว่า มหาวิทยาลัยนอกจากจะไม่ทำการหยุดยั้งในพฤติกรรมนั้นแล้ว ยังให้การสนับสนุนด้วยข้ออ้างว่า เป็นสิทธิทางวิชาการ เป็นสิทธิส่วนบุคคล จึงอยากถามมหาวิทยาลัย แล้วสถาบันที่ถูกจาบจ้วงย่ำยี ท่านไม่มีสิทธิที่จะปกป้องตัวท่านเองบ้างเลยหรือ เมื่อเจ้าหน้าที่บังคับใช้กฎหมาย เพื่อปกป้องสิทธิของสถาบัน มหาวิทยาลัยกลับออกมาโวยวาย แบบนี้จะให้คนในสังคมเขามองมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ อย่างไร?
๗. ที่มหาวิทยาลัยออกมาเรียกร้องขอสิทธิในการต่อสู้คดีให้แก่นิสิตของตน โดยอ้างการศึกษา พวกเราสงสัยว่า ทีตอนนิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยออกไปประท้วงข้ามเดือน ข้ามปี มหาวิทยาลัยทำไมไม่เรียกร้องให้นิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยกลับไปศึกษาบ้างเล่า และในคุก เขาก็เปิดโอกาสให้มีการศึกษาได้อย่างต่อเนื่องอยู่แล้ว หรือมหาวิทยาลัยต้องการให้นิสิตของมหาวิทยาลัยออกมาทำร้ายสถาบัน ทำลายความมั่นคงเพิ่มขึ้น?
๘. มหาวิทยาลัยเพิ่งจะออกมาเรียกร้องให้ทุกฝ่าย แก้ไขปัญหาความขัดแย้งด้วยสันติวิธี และด้วยความอดทนอดกลั้น คนไทยอยากถามว่า เรื่องจาบจ้วงสถาบันนี่ใครเป็นผู้ริเริ่ม ไม่ใช่บุคลากรของมหาวิทยาลัยดอกหรือ ทำไมมหาวิทยาลัยจึงไม่แก้ไขปัญหาที่คนของมหาวิทยาลัย หรือเป็นพวกเดียวกัน จึงทำเฉย เพราะมีธงเดียวกัน?
ย้ำ!.. ทีคนของตนออกมาทำร้ายผู้อื่น ทำเป็นวางเฉย แถมอ้างว่ามีสิทธิ
แต่พอคนของตนถูกดำเนินคดี กลับออกมาโวยวายกล่าวหาว่าริดรอนสิทธิ
ไอ้แบบนี้ มันเป็นสถานศึกษา เพื่อประโยชน์ของชาติตรงไหน?

Having seen the announcement of Thammasat University, a lot of Thais have doubts.
1. How the university is going to cope with several university lecturers who are against the monarchy and national security? They have used the university as a place to plant seeds of hatred against the monarchy and the older generation. How can the university be responsible for this?
2. Isn’t the university aware that its students have caused trouble and damage to the country? How can the university be responsible for this?
3. Personnel of the university have harmed the monarchy, undermined national security, caused troubles to Thai people, and stepped upon Thai people’s heart. How can the university be responsible for this?
4. The university’s announcement showed its concerns for students as if the university were guardian of those who have done wrong to the society and violated several clauses of laws. Does this mean the university is ready to be responsible?
5. Behaviors of some lecturers and several students at the university are outrageous and not at all apprehensive of laws. They have caused damage to the country. How does the university be accountable for this?
6. If the university sincerely cares about their students, when the university saw behaviors that defame the monarchy, destroy national security,
benefits, and peace of the country, why the university did not stop such actions? People in the society think that the university did not stop such behaviors, but also support them, with excuses as academic and personal rights. So, we want to ask the university. What about the monarchy that has been defamed? Does the monarchy have no right to protect themselves? When officials enforce laws to protect right of the monarchy, the university has come out with an outcry. So, how people in the society should view Thammasat University?
7. The university has called for rights of defending themselves for its student by claiming their education. What about these students protesting for months and over a year? Why did the university not tell their students to return to study? And the prison is open for continuous education. Or does the university want their students to continuously harm the monarchy and destroy national security?
8. The university has just called for all parties to end conflicts with peaceful way and tolerance. Thai people want to ask who started defaming the monarchy? Wasn’t it the university personnel? Why does the university not solve the problem at its people or are you the same group? That was why the university takes an indifferent stance. Because of having the same goal?
Again!….When their people harm others, they take an indifferent stance and even claim to have rights.
However, when their people are legally persecuted, they came out with an outcry that their rights have been derogated.
Is this an educational institute for national advantage?
