ลูกรัก

เจ้าจักสำคัญความนี้เป็นไฉน ?

สำหรับพ่อแล้ว

คราใดที่มีชีวิต มีลมหายใจ มีพลัง ใช้พลัง สร้างสรรค์สาระ หมดชีวิต ขาดลมหายใจ ไร้พลัง แต่ก็ยังดำรงสาระ ดูแล้วมันก็ไม่น่าจะยุ่งยากมากปัญหาใดๆ

แต่เจ้าจะรับรู้หรือไม่ว่า

คราใดเมื่อตัวขี้เกียจมันเข้าสิงเจ้า มันจักทำให้เจ้าเยิ่นเย้อ ยืดยาด อืดอาด ผ่อนผัน หลีกเลี่ยง ผัดวันประกันพรุ่งไปเรื่อยๆ

และเมื่อเจ้ามีอาการเป็นเช่นนี้

ต่อให้เรื่องง่ายๆ โอกาสดีๆ มีแก่เจ้า มันก็มิได้ทำให้ชีวิตเจ้ามีสาระใดๆ เกิดขึ้นเลย

ลูกรัก สำหรับพ่อแล้ว

ตัวขี้เกียจมันคือตัวมารร้าย คอยสร้างอุปสรรค ขัดขวางสาระและความเจริญให้เกิดแก่สรรพโลก สรรพชีวิต

เช่นนี้แหละกระมัง องค์พระผู้มีพระภาคเจ้าจึงทรงตรัสสอนเตือนสาวกของพระองค์ว่า

“วิริเยนทุกขมจฺเจติ”

บุคคลล่วงทุกข์ได้เพราะความเพียร

เจริญธรรม

พุทธะอิสระ

My dearest children,

For me,
As long as there is life, breath, and energy, that energy should be used to create something meaningful.
When life ends-when breath and energy are gone-yet a meaningful legacy remains, this does not seem difficult at all.

But do you realize this?
Whenever laziness takes hold, it gives rise to procrastination, sluggishness, delay, and avoidance-an endless habit of putting things off.

In such a state, even simple tasks and good opportunities cannot make one’s life meaningful.

My dear children,
To me, laziness is like an evil spirit. It constantly creates obstacles, blocking progress and improvement for all beings, in all lives.

Perhaps this is why the Lord Buddha taught and warned his disciples:

“Viriyena dukkham-acceti”

Through perseverance, one overcomes suffering.

May you continue to progress in your Dhamma practice.
