บททดสอบใหญ่ของผู้เกิดมาเพื่อสร้างบารมีทั้ง ๑๐ ทัศ
๑. ต้องผ่านความทุกข์ตั้งแต่ยังเยาว์วัยเพื่อเรียนรู้การอดทน
๒. ต้องรู้จักการสูญเสียคนรักหรือสิ่งที่ผูกพันเพื่อเข้าใจความไม่เที่ยง
๓. มักถูกคนไม่เข้าใจ ถูกกล่าวหา หรือ ถูกหักหลัง เพื่อเรียนรู้การให้อภัย
๔. ชีวิตมักอยู่ในความยากลำบาก แต่ไม่อดตายเพราะบุญเก่าคอยประคอง
๕. มักต้องช่วยเหลือผู้อื่น แม้ตนเองก็ลำบาก นี่คือการสร้างทานบารมี
๖. หัวใจมักทดสอบด้วยความรักซ้ำแล้วซ้ำเล่า เพื่อฝึกเมตตาและปล่อยวาง
๗. มักมีญาณรู้หรือสัมผัสบางอย่าง เหนือเหตุผลเพราะบารมีปัญญาเริ่มตื่น
๘. มักถูกดึงเข้าสู่ทางธรรมแม้พยายามหนีเพราะจิตเก่าจำได้
๙. ต้องผ่านช่วงที่เหมือนถูกลืม ถูกทอดทิ้ง เพื่อฝึกความอดทนและความเข้มแข็งภายใน
๑๐. มักมีครูบาอาจารย์หรือสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์คอยชี้ทาง เมื่อถึงเวลาที่จิตพร้อมอาจารย์จะปรากฏ
๑๑. สิ่งที่อยากได้จะได้ช้า แต่สิ่งที่ควรได้จะได้แน่ เพราะผลบุญถูกจัดสรรอย่างเที่ยงธรรม
๑๒. มีศัตรูที่เกิดจากกรรมเก่า มาเพื่อให้เราชนะด้วยความดี
๑๓. ต้องเรียนรู้การอยู่คนเดียว โดยไม่เหงาเพราะผู้สร้างบารมีต้องมีใจที่มั่นคง
๑๔. ยิ่งให้มากเท่าไหร่ชีวิตยิ่งเบาเท่านั้น
๑๕. ต้องเรียนรู้ความหมายของคำว่า ศีล ด้วยชีวิตจริงไม่ใช่แค่คำสอน
๑๖. ต้องผ่านช่วงที่ศรัทธาสั่นคลอน เพื่อรู้ว่าอะไรคือศรัทธาที่แท้จริง
๑๗. สุดท้ายจะพบว่า ทุกสิ่งที่สูญเสียไม่ได้หายไปไหน แต่กลับมาในรูปของปัญญาและความสว่างในใจ
การสร้างบารมีทั้ง ๑๐ ทัศ ไม่มีทางเลือกมีแต่ทางแลก เพราะยิ่งบารมีมาก กรรมก็ยิ่งละเอียด ไม่มีสิ่งใดบังเอิญ ไม่มีใครเข้ามาโดยไม่มีเหตุผล ทุกคนทุกเรื่องราวล้วนมาเพื่อต่อยอดบารมีที่เคยตั้งจิตอธิษฐานไว้ในอดีตชาติ

The great tests of those born to cultivate the Ten Perfections are as follows :
1. They must experience suffering from a young age to learn patience.
2. They must experience the loss of loved ones or attachments to understand impermanence.
3. They are often misunderstood, accused, or betrayed to learn forgiveness.
4. Their lives are often difficult, yet they never starve, for their past merits sustain them.
5. They often must help others even while suffering themselves. This is the practice of generosity.
6. The hearts are repeatedly tested through love to cultivate loving-kindness and the ability to let go.
7. They often possess a clairvoyant sense or intuition beyond reason, because wisdom is beginning to awaken.
8. They are often drawn to the path of Dhamma, even when they try to escape it, because their old minds remember.
9. They must go through a period of being forgotten and abandoned to develop patience and inner strength.
10. They often have teachers or sacred beings who guide their ways. When their minds are ready, the teacher will appear.
11. What they desire will come to them slowly. However, they will surely receive what they deserve, for merit yields fair outcomes.
12. Enemies born of their past karma come into their lives so that they overcome them through goodness.
13. They must learn to live alone without feeling lonely, for those who cultivate merits must have steadfast hearts.
14. The more they give, the lighter their lives become.
15. They must come to understand the meaning of the word “morality” through real-life experience, not merely through teachings.
16. They must go through periods of wavering faith to know what true faith is.
17. Ultimately, they will realize that everything they have lost has not truly disappeared, but has returned in the form of wisdom and inner light.
Cultivating the Ten Perfections of merit requires exchange. The greater the merit, the more refined the karma. Nothing happens by accident. Nothing comes without reason. Every person and every story appears to expand their merits as a result of resolutions made in past lives.
