ลูกรัก เจ้าจักสำคัญความนี้เป็นไฉน ?

วันนี้พ่อได้นำใบสมัครเป็นสมาชิกสัญชีวมหานรกมาให้เจ้าทั้งหลายพิจารณาดูว่า ใครบ้างที่จะสนใจเป็นสมาชิก
ซึ่งผู้สมัครต้องเริ่มชื่นชอบทำกรรมปาณาติบาตหรือไม่ก็ผู้ที่ฆ่าตัวตาย
หรือไม่ก็ชอบแสดงอำนาจบาตรใหญ่ ใช้อำนาจนั้นเบียดเบียนผู้อื่น สัตว์อื่นโดยไม่เป็นธรรม
โจรปล้นเอาทรัพย์สินของผู้อื่น หรือไม่ก็พวกทุจริตโกงกินบ้านเมือง และหลอกลวงเอาทรัพย์ของผู้อื่น
เหล่านี้คือสมบัติแห่งกรรมที่ต้องรับผลเมื่อตายลง จะได้สิทธิ์เป็นสมาชิกของสัญชีวมหานรกตามกำลังแห่งกรรม
จะได้รับการบริการจากมือของนายนิรยบาลประจำนคร ด้วยการจับมัดแล้วกดให้นอนลงเหนือแผ่นเหล็กแดงที่ร้อนด้วยไฟนรก พร้อมทั้งสับฟันด้วยดาบขนาดใหญ่อันคมกล้าจนร่างกายขาดเป็นท่อนๆ แล้วหยิบมาแล่เนื้อจนเหลือแต่โครงกระดูก จึงจักสิ้นใจตาย
กาลต่อมาก็บังเกิดลมแห่งชีวะกรรม พัดมากระทบกายทำให้กลับฟื้นคืนชีวิตขึ้นมาอีก นายนิรยบาลเห็นเช่นนั้นจึงลงทัณฑ์ด้วยวิธีเดิม ทำซ้ำๆ อยู่เช่นนี้ จนกว่าบัตรสมาชิกจะหมดอายุ
ซึ่งบัตรของแต่ละตนจักมีอายุแตกต่างกัน ขึ้นอยู่ที่ว่า จักทำกรรมอันเป็นเหตุให้ได้เป็นสมาชิกนรกขุมนี้นานมากน้อยแค่ไหน ซึ่งแต่ละตนจักมีอายุของการรับบริการจากนายนิรยบาลแห่งสัญชีวมหานรก แม้ ๑ วันนรกขุมนี้เท่ากับ ๕๐๐ ปีของมนุษย์
หากใครโชคดีได้เป็นสมาชิกนรกขุมนี้สัก ๕๐ ปีนรก ก็ลองคูณกันดูเอาก็แล้วกันว่าจะกี่ล้านปีมนุษย์
แต่สัตว์บางตนโชคไม่ดีเป็นสมาชิกของนรกขุมนี้แค่ครึ่งวันก็มีนะจ๊ะ
วันนี้ก็ขอเชิญเป็นสมาชิกสัญชีวมหานรกเอาไว้แค่นี้ก่อน วันหน้าจะชวนท่านทั้งหลายไปสมัครเป็นสมาชิกนรกขุมอื่นๆ ต่อไปนะจ๊ะ

Today, I have brought the application form for membership in Sanjiva Hell for your consideration. Who among you is interested in joining?
Applicants must harbor a craving for killing or for taking their own lives.
Or they must abuse their power to exploit others—thieves who steal from others, or the corrupt who plunder national assets and embezzle people’s wealth.
Such deeds are the seeds of their karma. Upon death, they will reap the consequences. Their membership in Sanjiva Hell will be granted by their own actions.
There, Hell Wardens await and will bind the guilty people and force them to lie upon a red-hot iron plate, seared by the flames of Hell. Sharp swords will hack their bodies apart until nothing remains but a pile of bones. Then they will die.
But the wind of life will blow once more, reviving them. The Hell Wardens, seeing this, will resume the torment. The cycle will be repeated endlessly until the term of membership is complete.
The length of stay differs for each, determined by the weight of their sins. In the vast Sanjiva Hell, one day equals 500 years of a human’s life.
If a member is fortunate to be here 50 years here, just multiply them together and see how many millions of human years that will take. Yet, some unfortunately serve only half a day in this hell.
Today, I extend this invitation for membership in the great Sanjiva Hell. Next time, I will present the application to other hells.
