ขณะที่ทหารกล้าต้องเฝ้าระวังเขมรแล้ว ยังต้องคอยเฝ้าระวังภัยด้านหลังที่เกิดจากพวกนักการเมือง และบรรดานายทุนของพวกนักการเมือง ที่ต้องการใช้สารพัดมาตรการมาบีบบังคับให้ทหารต้องเปิดด่าน

ทั้งที่การเปิด-ปิดด่าน เป็นหนึ่งในยุทธวิธีในการบีบให้เขมรยอมปฏิบัติตามข้อเรียกร้องจนกว่าไทยจะมั่นใจว่า เขมรได้ทำตามข้อเรียกร้องของไทยจนครบถ้วน และคนไทยต้องอยู่รอดปลอดภัยจากการกระทำของเขมร

It is so pitiful for the brave soldiers!

While the brave soldiers must guard against Cambodian soldiers, they must also be wary of threats from behind them posed by politicians and their financiers, who are using various measures to force the soldiers to open the border crossing.

However, opening and closing the border crossing is one of the strategies used to pressure Cambodia to comply with our requests until Thailand is confident that Cambodia has fully met those requests and that the Thai people are safe from Cambodian wrongdoing.
