วันนี้ขณะที่นั่งทำพระอยู่ เจ้านัดนำเอาโทรศัพท์มาส่งให้แล้วบอกว่า เจ้าตั้มโทรมาบอกว่า กรรมาธิการร่างกฎหมายปรองดองจะขอเรียนปรึกษา เรื่อง การยกร่างกฎหมายปรองดอง

เราก็เลยอนุญาต เขาก็ต่อสายให้เขามาคุย ซึ่งเขาก็บรรยายว่า กฎหมายปรองดองได้มีผู้เสนอให้เขามาหลายฉบับ แล้วก็ถูกคณะกรรมาธิการปัดตกไป เหลือไว้แค่สองฉบับ จึงได้เข้ามาสู่คณะกรรมาธิการชุดใหญ่กำลังพิจารณา

แต่ก็มีประเด็นหลักๆ ที่เขายกขึ้นพูดให้ฟัง คือ เรื่องการนิรโทษกรรมแก่คนทุกกลุ่ม ทุกฝ่าย โดยไม่เลือกปฏิบัติ

ฉันจึงถามเขาไปว่า คงจะไม่หมายรวมถึงการแก้กฎหมายปกป้องสถาบัน ๑๑๒ และการจาบจ้วงสถาบันโดยเจตนา รวมพวกที่ทุจริตโกงกินชาติด้วยละกระมัง

เพราะคุณต้องไม่ลืมว่า ขนาดนายทักษิณที่ต้องคดีทุจริต ศาลตัดสินจำคุก ๘ ปี พระเจ้าอยู่หัวพระองค์ท่านทรงลดโทษให้ต้องติดคุก ๑ ปี คือ ไม่ได้อภัยโทษให้ทั้งหมด

และหากกฎหมายนิรโทษกรรมของคณะกรรมาธิการ พิจารณายกร่างกำลังทำอยู่ ยังเขียนกฎหมายนิรโทษกรรมให้แก่คนที่กัดเซาะ บ่อนทำลายสถาบัน และโกงชาติด้วย

นั่นก็แสดงว่า พวกคุณกำลังก้าวล่วงพระราชอำนาจ

For the sake of reconciliation, but not to let national thieves go unpunished.

Because you must not forget that even Thaksin, convicted of corruption and sentenced to eight years in prison, His Majesty the King commuted his sentence to one year in prison, not a full pardon.

And if the amnesty bills the committee is drafting grant amnesty to those who undermine royal institutions and corrupt the nation, then that shows you are overstepping the royal prerogative.
