เราท่านทั้งหลายได้เดินทางมาถึงกาลแห่งความเสื่อมกันแล้ว (ตอนที่ ๗)

คุณพระแว่นท่านได้ส่งความฝัน ๑๖ ข้อ ของพระเจ้าปเสนทิโกศลมาให้ได้อ่าน อ่านแล้วก็อดไม่ได้ที่จะนำมาใคร่ครวญดูว่ามีความฝันใดบ้างที่ตรงกับยุคปัจจุบัน
เราท่านทั้งหลายก็ลองมาตามดูและพิจารณาร่วมกันนะจ๊ะ
ครั้งเมื่อพระบรมศาสดาทรงตรัสเตือนให้ราชาปเสนทิโกศลทรงตรัสเล่าพระสุบินนิมิตในข้อที่ ๗ ต่อไป
องค์ราชาปเสนทิโกศลจึงทรงตรัสทูลว่า ข้อแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ ข้าพระพุทธเจ้าสุบินนิมิตเห็นบุรุษคนหนึ่งฟั่นเชือกหนังแล้วหย่อนปลายเชือกลงไปใกล้ๆ เท้า แม่สุนัขจิ้งจอกที่ผอมโซตัวหนึ่งซึ่งนอนอยู่ใต้เตียงที่เขานั่งสุนัขนั้นจึงกัดกินเชือกเส้นนั้นไปเรื่อยๆ โดยที่เจ้าของเชือกไม่รู้เลย
สุบินนิมิตดังกล่าวมานี้ จักมีอันตรายถึงชีวิตและราชบัลลังก์ของข้าพระองค์หรือไม่พระพุทธเจ้าข้า
องค์พระบรมศาสดา ดูกรมหาบพิตร สุบินนิมิตข้อนี้หาได้มีอันตรายแก่ชีวิตและราชบัลลังก์ของพระองค์ไม่ แต่จักเกิดขึ้นในกาลข้างหน้า พวกบุรุษสตรี จะพากันโลเลลุ่มหลงในกามคุณ เอาแต่แต่งตัวอวดกันและกัน แล้วพากันสรวลเสเฮฮา เที่ยวเตร่ไปตามตลาด ห้างร้าน สถานที่เริงรมย์ ที่ชุมชนเสพติดในอบายมุขต่างๆ เมื่อหมดสิ้นทรัพย์สินก็พากันขายตัว เพื่อให้ได้มาซึ่งเงินทอง แล้วเอาไปซ่องเสพในสิ่งที่ตนเองชอบ เมื่อหมดทรัพย์สินก็หันกลับไปทำการเช่นเดิมอยู่ดังนี้ซ้ำๆ
เป็นผู้ห่างไกลจากศีลธรรม มีความประพฤติโลเล กลับกลอก เห็นแก่ตัว ยึดถืออบายมุขเป็นสรณะ เป็นที่พึ่งพา จนตัวเองติดโรคร้าย ผ่ายผอมเหมือนสุนัขจิ้งจอกที่ผอมโซ นอนหายใจรวยรินอยู่ใต้ตั่งของชนทั้งหลาย แล้วแอบลักกัดกินเชือกหนังที่เขาทิ้งแล้วฉะนั้น
กาลข้างหน้าเหมือนมนุษย์เสื่อมจากความละอายไม่เกรงกลัวบาป จักกระทำตนเป็นคนกลับกลอก ปอกลอก เหลวไหล หาแก่นสารใดๆ มิได้
เมื่อมหาบพิตรทรงสดับคำอธิบายความนัยของพระสุบินนิมิตข้อนี้กระจ่างแจ้งแล้ว เชิญพระองค์ตรัสเล่าพระสุบินนิมิตข้อต่อไปด้วยเถิด

We have arrived at an era of decline. (Part 7)

Khun Phra Waen sent me the sixteen dreams of King Pasenadi Kosala. After reading them, I could not help pondering which dreams were relevant to the present era.
Let us learn and contemplate together.
The Buddha urged King Pasenadi Kosala to tell him his seventh dream.
King Pasenadi Kosala replied: “Venerable sir, I dreamt of a man weaving a leather rope and lowering the rope’s end near his feet. A skinny fox, lying under the bed where the man was sitting, kept biting the rope, but the man did not know about this. Will this dream be a danger to my life and my throne?
O Blessed King, this dream is not dangerous for your life or throne. In the future, men and women will be infatuated with sensual pleasures, dressing up to show off to each other. They will have fun, wandering around markets, shops, entertainment places, and communities addicted to various vices. When they run out of money, they will sell their bodies to gain money and spend money to indulge in pleasures. When all their money is gone, they will do the same over and over.
People lack morality, have fickle behaviors, are selfish, and take vices as their refuge, till they become infected with deadly diseases and thin like a skinny fox, lying breathlessly beneath stools and secretly biting and eating discarded leather ropes.
In the future, people will be shameless, fickle-minded, deceitful, nonsensical, and live in vain.
Once Your Majesty clearly understand the interpretation of this dream, please tell me your next dream.
