เราท่านทั้งหลายได้เดินทางมาถึงกาลแห่งความเสื่อมกันแล้ว (ตอนที่ ๔)

คุณพระแว่นท่านได้ส่งความฝัน ๑๖ ข้อ ของพระเจ้าปเสนทิโกศลมาให้ได้อ่าน อ่านแล้วก็อดไม่ได้ที่จะนำมาใคร่ครวญดูว่ามีความฝันใดบ้างที่ตรงกับยุคปัจจุบัน
เราท่านทั้งหลายก็ลองมาตามดูและพิจารณาร่วมกันนะจ๊ะ
เมื่อองค์พระบรมศาสดาทรงตรัสเตือนว่า หากมหาบพิตรทรงสดับคำอธิบายพระสุบินนิมิตนี้ได้อย่างแจ่มชัดแล้ว ขอมหาบพิตรทรงเล่าพระสุบินนิมิตในข้อต่อไปเถิด
องค์ราชาปเสนทิโกศล ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ หม่อมฉันฝันเห็นคนทั้งหลายไม่ใช้โคตัวโตที่มีพละกำลังที่คุ้นเคยกับการเทียมรถ ลากเกวียน กลับพากันใช้โครุ่นอ่อนเยาว์ลาก ความคุ้นเคยกับการเทียมรถ ลากเกวียน พอลากเกวียนไปไม่ไหว ก็สลัดแอก ยืนอยู่เฉยๆ ไม่ยอมขยับ
องค์พระบรมศาสดาทรงตรัสอธิบายพระสุบินนิมิตนั้นว่า
ดูกรมหาบพิตร สุบินนิมิตข้อนี้ของพระองค์หาได้มีผลเป็นอันตรายต่อพระองค์และราชบัลลังก์ไม่ แต่พระสุบินนิมิตนี้ จักบังเกิดผลในกาลข้างหน้าในยุคสมัยของพระราชาผู้มีบุญน้อย ไม่ตั้งอยู่ในธรรม ไม่พระราชทานยศให้แก่อํามาตย์ ข้าราชบริพาร ผู้เป็นบัณฑิต ผู้มีความรู้ความสามารถในกิจกรรมการงานทั้งปวงของบ้านเมือง แต่กลับพระราชทานยศให้แก่คนหนุ่มสาวผู้ไม่ฉลาด ไม่เข้าใจในราชประเพณี ไม่สามารถทำราชกิจให้สำเร็จได้ คนหนุ่มสาวเหล่านั้นจึงพากันทอดธุระเสีย
ดุจดังสุบินนิมิตที่ทรงเห็นชนทั้งหลาย ใช้โครุ่นอ่อนเยาว์ขาดความคุ้นเคยกับการเทียมรถ ลากเกวียนอันหนัก เมื่อลากเกวียนไปไม่ไหวจึงยืนเฉยๆ ดังนี้ขอมหาบพิตรทรงตรัสถึงพระสุบินข้อที่ ๕ ต่อไปเถิด
(หากจะเทียบกับยุคประชาธิปไตยฟีเวอร์ในเมืองไทย เมื่ออำนาจอยู่ในมือประชาชน แต่ประชาชนผู้เสื่อมในศีลธรรม ขาดสติปัญญาไปเลือกตั้งเอานักการเมืองปัญญาอ่อนไร้ศีลธรรม เอามาบริหารบ้านเมือง สิ่งที่ประชาชนจักได้ก็คือสิ่งที่เป็นอยู่ในปัจจุบันนี้นี่แหละ อันนี้เป็นความเห็นของพุทธะอิสระเองนะจ๊ะ)

We have arrived at an era of decline. (Part 4)

Khun Phra Waen sent me the sixteen dreams of King Pasenadi Kosala. After reading them, I could not help pondering which dreams were relevant to the present era.
Let us learn and consider together.
The Buddha asked the King to tell him about his next dream.
“My Lord, I dreamt that people did not use the strong, large oxen that were accustomed to pulling carts, but used young oxen to pull carts. When the carts could not be pulled, the young oxen threw off the yoke and stood still, refusing to move.
The Buddha explained the dream as follows:
“Your Majesty, this dream of yours will not have any harmful effect on you and your throne. However, this dream will have an effect in the future in the era of a king with little merit, who does not uphold the Dharma principles and does not grant ranks to learned and capable ministers and courtiers. Instead, he grants ranks to young people who are foolish and ignorant of the royal traditions and cannot complete the royal duties. Those young people thus neglect their duties.
Like your dream in which people used young oxen, unfamiliar with yoking and pulling heavy carts. When they could not pull the carts, they just stood still. Your Majesty, please tell me about your fifth dream.
(In comparison with the era of democracy fever in Thailand, power was in the hands of the immoral and unwise people who elected immoral and stupid politicians to govern the country. What the people would get is what is happening now. This is my own opinion.)
