เราท่านทั้งหลายได้เดินทางมาถึงกาลแห่งความเสื่อมกันแล้ว (ตอนที่ ๓)

คุณพระแว่นท่านได้ส่งความฝัน ๑๖ ข้อ ของพระเจ้าปเสนทิโกศลมาให้ได้อ่าน อ่านแล้วก็อดไม่ได้ที่จะนำมาใคร่ครวญดูว่ามีความฝันใดบ้างที่ตรงกับยุคปัจจุบัน
เราท่านทั้งหลายก็ลองมาตามดูและพิจารณาร่วมกันนะจ๊ะ
เมื่อองค์พระบรมศาสดาทรงเห็นว่า ราชาปเสนทิโกศลได้ทรงสดับคำอธิบายความหมายของพระสุบินนิมิตข้อที่ ๒ กระจ่างชัดแล้ว จึงทรงมีพุทธบัญชาตรัสให้พระราชาปเสนทิโกศลทรงตรัสเล่าพระสุบินนิมิตข้อที่ ๓ สืบไป
ราชาปเสนทิโกศล ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ หม่อมฉันได้สุบินนิมิตเห็นแม่โคตัวใหญ่ พากันคุกเข่าก้มลงดื่มนมของลูกโควัยอ่อนที่เพิ่งเกิด สุบินนิมิตเช่นนี้จักเป็นลางดีร้ายต่อชีวิตและราชบัลลังก์ของหม่อมฉันหรือไม่พระพุทธเจ้าข้า
องค์พระบรมศาสดา ทรงตรัสอธิบายความหมายของพระสุบินนิมิตในข้อนี้ความว่า
สิ่งที่มหาบพิตรทรงเห็นในพระสุบินนิมิตนี้หาได้มีอันตรายใดๆ ต่อชีวิตและราชบัลลังก์ของพระองค์ไม่ แต่จักเป็นเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในกาลภายหน้า เมื่อชนทั้งหลายมีพฤติกรรม กิริยาวาจาไม่อ่อมน้อมต่อผู้ใหญ่ ไม่เคารพยำเกรงต่อบิดามารดา และญาติผู้ใหญ่
ครั้งเมื่อหาเลี้ยงชีวิตตนเองได้ พอใจที่จักให้การอุปถัมภ์บำรุงบิดามารดา และญาติผู้ใหญ่ก็ให้ แต่หากไม่พอใจที่จักให้ ก็ไม่ให้
เมื่อบิดามารดาและหมู่ญาติผู้ใหญ่หมดแรงหากินเองได้ ก็ต้องอ้อนวอนร้องขอความช่วยเหลือจากบุตรหลาน ดุจดังขอทานเพื่อเลี้ยงชีวิต
เฉกเช่นแม่โคคุกเข่าก้มลงขอดูดนมลูกโควัยอ่อนฉะนั้น
เหตุการณ์ดังกล่าวมานี้จักเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต เมื่อโลกเสื่อมจากศีลธรรม มหาบพิตรทรงสดับความนัยนี้เข้าใจแล้ว ก็จงทรงตรัสเล่าพระสุบินนิมิตในข้อต่อไปเถิด

We have arrived at an era of decline. (Part 3)

Khun Phra Waen sent me the sixteen dreams of King Pasenadi Kosala. After reading them, I could not help pondering which dreams were relevant to the present era.
Let us learn and consider together.
After seeing that King Pasenadi had clearly understood the meaning of the second dream, the Buddha asked King Pasenadi to tell him the third dream.
“My Lord, I dreamt of a large cow kneeling to drink the milk of a newborn calf. Could this be a good or bad omen for my life and my throne?
The Buddha explained the meaning of this dream as follows:
What you saw in this dream will not pose any danger to your life or your throne. Rather, this will happen in the future when people behave and speak disrespectfully to their elders and will not respect their parents and elders.
Once the children can earn their living and feel pleased to support their parents and elders, they do. On the other hand, if they do not feel pleased, they do not support their parents.
When parents and elders are too old to earn a living, they must beg for help from their children and grandchildren for survival, just like beggars.
Just like a mother cow kneels to suckle her young calf.
These events will happen when the world is devoid of morality. If Your Majesty understands the meaning of this dream, please tell me your next one.
