ลูกรัก เจ้าจักสำคัญความนี้เป็นไฉน ? (ตอนที่ ๔)

ครานี้นำใบสมัครเป็นสมาชิกของโรรุวมหานรก มาให้ท่านทั้งหลายได้พิจารณาดูว่า สนใจจะสมัครเป็นสมาชิกของมหานรกขุมนี้กันบ้างหรือเปล่า
โรรุวมหานรก หมายถึง มหานรกที่เต็มไปด้วยเสียงร้องระงมครวญครางอย่างน่าเวทนา เป็นนรกขุมที่ ๔ อยู่ต่ำลงมาจากสังฆาฏมหานรก มีขนาดใหญ่กว่าสังฆาฏมหานรก
สัตว์ตนใดได้สิทธิ์มาเกิดในนรกขุมนี้จักเกิดในดอกบัวเหล็กที่บานเต็มที่ ด้วยการนอนคว่ำหน้าอยู่กลางดอกบัวเหล็กดอกโต โดยมีศีรษะครึ่งหนึ่งจมมิดไปในดอกบัวแค่คาง ปลายเท้าจมมิดเข้าไปในดอกบัวเหล็กแค่ข้อเท้า มือทั้งสองข้าง ก็กางจมมิดเข้าไปในดอกบัวเหล็กแค่ข้อมือ
ขณะเดียวกันก็จักมีเปลวไฟเผาไหม้ดอกบัวเหล็กพร้อมกับสัตว์นรกเหล่านั้น เปลวไฟแลบเข้าหูซ้ายออกหูขวา แลบเข้าหูขวาออกหูซ้าย เข้าปาก ตา จมูก สัตว์นรกได้แต่ร้องครวญครางเสียงสนั่นหวั่นไหวอื้ออึง จะตายก็ไม่ตาย ต้องทนทุกขเวทนาอยู่อย่างนี้ แม้จะพยายามขัดขืนดึงดันปฏิเสธ ก็มิอาจหลุดพ้นได้ เป็นอยู่เช่นนี้จนกว่าจะหมดอายุขัยตายลงแล้วจักมีลมชีวกรรมพัดมาต้องกายจึงกลับมาเกิดในดอกบัวนั้นใหม่
โรรุวมหานรกขุมนี้นั้นเป็นสถานที่สำหรับผู้ที่มีปกตินิสัยชอบพูดโกหก พูดคำหยาบ พูดส่อเสียด พูดเพ้อเจ้อ มีวจีกรรมชั่วหยาบ ชอบพูดยุยงให้เขาแตกแยก พูดใส่ร้ายป้ายสี พูดตลบตะแลงไม่อยู่กับร่องกับรอย พูดบิดเบือนจากดีกลายเป็นชั่ว จากชั่วกลายเป็นดี ใช้ปากเป็นอาวุธทำร้ายทำลายผู้อื่น
สำหรับผู้ที่จักเป็นสมาชิกของนรกขุมนี้จักมีเวลาแตกต่างกันไป บางตนก็เป็นสมาชิกได้ ๑ วันนรกเทียบได้เท่ากับ ๕๗๖ ปีมนุษย์ สัตว์บางตนขณะมีชีวิตอยู่ในโลกมนุษย์ที่ชอบโกหก เพ้อเจ้อ ส่อเสียด ใส่ร้ายป้ายสี ยุยงให้เขาแตกแยกกันแต่ไม่พูดคำหยาบ ก็อาจจะได้เป็นสมาชิกไปยาวๆ ในทุกครั้งที่พูด
สัตว์นรกบางตนพูดแต่คำหยาบ แต่ไม่โกหก ไม่ส่อเสียด ไม่เพ้อเจ้อ ไม่ยุยงให้เขาแตกแยกกัน ก็อาจจะได้เป็นสมาชิกของนรกขุมนี้ไปเท่ากับจำนวนครั้งที่พูดคำหยาบ ด้วยความขาดสติ
คาถาที่เป็นเครื่องป้องกันโรรุวมหานรกนี้ได้ คือ การภาวนาถึงอนุสติ ๑๐ อย่าง เช่น พุทธานุสติ ธัมมานุสติ สังฆานุสติ สีลานุสติ เหล่านี้เป็นต้น
เจริญสติภาวนาบทใดบทหนึ่งจนติดปากติดใจติดตัว เช่นนี้ก็จักทำให้ห่างไกลจากนรกขุมนี้ได้แล้ว

This time, I have brought you an application for membership in Roruva Hell for your consideration. Who among you is interested in joining?
Roruva Major Hell refers to the great hell filled with miserable groans and cries. It is the fourth hell, located below Sangkhata Major Hell, and is larger than Sangkhata Major Hell.
Anyone eligible to be in this hell will be born in a fully bloomed iron lotus, lying face down atop a large iron lotus. Their head is half-submerged in the lotus up to their chin, their feet are submerged up to their ankles, and their hands are spread out and submerged up to their wrists.
At the same time, flames will engulf the iron lotus and the creatures within it. Flames will flash into their left ear and out their right, into their right ear and out their left, and into their mouths, eyes, and noses. The hell creatures will only groan and groan, their cries rumbling and deafening. They will not die and must endure this suffering. Despite their efforts to resist and refuse, they will not be able to escape. This will continue until their life span ends. Then, a biological wind will blow upon their bodies, causing them to be reborn in that same lotus flower.
Roruva Hell is a place for those who habitually lie, speak harshly, slander, and ramble. They use coarse and evil speech, incite division, slander, lie inconsistently, twist good into evil and evil into good, and use their mouths as weapons to harm and destroy others.
Membership in this hell varies. Some individuals may stay for one day, which is equivalent to 576 human years.
Some beings, while living in the human world, lie, ramble, slander, and incite division, but do not utter harsh words. They may remain members for a long time, depending on the number of their wrong speeches.
Some beings who only speak harsh words, but do not lie, slander, ramble, or incite division, may remain members in this hell for the number of times they speak harsh words without mindfulness.
Mantras to protect against Roruva Hell are the ten recollections of mindfulness, such as recollection of the virtues of the Buddha, recollection of the virtues of the Dharma, recollection of the virtues of the Sangha, and recollection of the advantages of morality (religious precepts).
Cultivating any one of these recollections until they become ingrained in your mind and body will lead you away from this hell.
